POSITION TITLE:   Outpatient Therapist – Child/Adolescent (Full-Time)

JOB SUMMARY:  We are looking for highly qualified professionals to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate would provide diagnostic assessments for children and adolescents, utilizing screening instruments and clinical interviewing (ie DC 0-5 assessment, ESCII assessment, and CASII assessment experience). Providers will be responsible for the provision of evidence-based mental health treatments within the parameters of documented training and supervised work experience.  Providers will be responsible for the provision of mental health care to children, adolescents, and families utilizing cognitive, behavioral, and other empirically supported interventions for clinical conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Minimum of Masters degree in a behavioral health field from an accredited college or university.  Must be licensed or license-eligible in Minnesota as a Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).  Must be able to be credentialed by third party reimbursement systems.  Experience as per licensure requirement.

JOB SUMMARY:  The Jail Based Therapist works as a Mental Health Professional within the Clay County Jail, working with jail staff to assess suicidality and risk, identify inmates who may be impacted by mental illness, help identify needs and safety concerns for inmates and jail personnel, provide crisis intervention, develop rapport, identify therapeutic needs and utilize appropriate therapeutic interventions, facilitate groups, and make recommendations for appropriate referrals upon release.
