Children Psychiatry / Outpatient

LMHC is a Rule 245A State Licensed Behavioral Health Provider which specializes in providing services to individuals who have mental health disorders.

Outpatient services are designed to assist an individual’s behavioral health needs. LMHC clinical staff provide services to children, adults, and families with problems in their daily lives. Whether it’s an individual or family need, LMHC can help you or your loved one.

LMHC has staff who are trained in the following trauma therapy techniques; Brainspotting, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and ART Therapy (Accelerated Resolution Therapy).  Each of these methods offer a different approach to the healing process.

  • Psychological Evaluations

Services may be provided for a variety of behavioral health needs including, but not limited to:

  • ADHD
  • Anger management
  • Anxiety
  • Behavior management
  • Crisis intervention
  • Depression
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
  • Eating disorders

LMHC offers “free” online screening to individuals. Screenings can be accessed at www.lmhc.org.

Referral Sources

Services may be requested by an individual or an individual may be referred to LMHC by a family member, friend, teacher, County Human Services and Public Health Courts, physician or any other health care provider.

Funding

LMHC is an approved provider for a variety of insurance plans. LMHC also offers a reduced fee for residents in Becker, Clay, Douglas, Grant, Otter Tail and Pope Counties. Prior to treatment, payment or insurance will be authorized.
